IN Spots to beat the heat

How do you know you’re IN an IN spot?

After many paper cuts and envelope licking, we have finally mailed out all of our ‘Congratulations You’re IN’ letters to IN spots all over town. Each letter came with a large red window decal designating the bar/store/restaurant/etc as IN.

Time to wine down

It’s been tough, I know. A full work week coming off a 3-day- holiday weekend can be exhausting. After catching up on emails and voicemails, it’s time for cocktails. (Ok, sorry. I promise to never rhyme again).

So, in honor of hump day – or as some call it – Wine Down Wednesday, let’s turn our attention to a few IN drinking spots that made the cut: The J. Clyde, Metro Bistro, and The Wine Loft.

What’s your IN spot for BBQ?

Personally, I can’t believe it is already July, and we are talking about our 4th of July plans! That also means that the IN nominations are closed and we are shipping the IN guide book off to the printer. Whew!

But, no sense in waiting till the book is out, when you have me as an IN leak!

Where do we begin?

Here at the IN headquarters, we are wrapping up our nominations for IN spots. It has been so much fun to read all of your responses. More than 3,000 nominations have come in, and we still are picking more up from the IN boxes from around town.

Personally, I have really enjoyed hearing the positive feedback people have about the city. Everyone knows we have challenges, but I love knowing that we also have so many favorite IN spots to choose from.
