It’s time to make that quarterly request for those interested in writing posts for The Terminal to make yourselves known to us. Now that we’ve been around for a year, it’s becoming tougher and tougher for those that are still involved with the site’s day-to-day operations to keep up with all of the submissions and story ideas. It’s currently a job where the only pay is knowing that you’ve helped to make more people in the city aware of what’s going on – though we’re working on it.

New stops on The Terminal
We did say yesterday that we’d have an announcement today on the site. We actually have two announcements to share with you. This first one is more of a confirming what those who attended our anniversary party already know. We want to make sure that you’re aware of three new initiatives that we intend to launch before the end of April (though we are aware that in one case, it may be delayed until mid-May). We think that you’ll be happy with all of these as it adds to the conversation.

Let’s call happy hour tonight – seriously!
One of the new initiatives that we’re planning on is a monthly happy hour at The Bottletree. Since the weather’s cleared up (mostly), and mainly because I just want to see what happens, I’m calling happy hour for… TONIGHT!!
No, this isn’t the official start, but we thought what the hell (we did mention it on our MySpace profile yesterday).
From 5 – 7 p.m. tonight, venture on over to Avondale and sit out on The Bottletree’s side patio (it’s covered) and enjoy The Terminally Happy Hour.
Right now it’s pretty quiet (but there’s foosball to be played).
If not, we’ll have a couple of announcements tomorrow morning anyway. Enjoy the ride!

Thanks for coming out on Friday!
We’d like to take a moment and thank everyone that came out to our anniversary party on Friday evening. The weather ended up playing nice and it sounds like a good time was had by all. At least, we hope so… Click on the image to the left to see photos from the event.
We’re working on uploading some audio, but I still think that Friday’s editorial says what’s needed much better. We’ll keep trying though… We’re holding off the announcement for one more day to make sure everything’s working OK.
