We’re full of questions today over here…

kirbysqsqThere’s a press release that went out yesterday that’s got some folks thinking that the popular video game character may be making an appearance in Birmingham, AL tomorrow. The info that we do know? A Nintendo “authority” will be in attendance at Kirby Middle School for interviews and it’ll be optimal to see the spectale between 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. That and it’s a cute press release. Not quite, but yes! It was a little weird when we visited the BJCTA’s (a.k.a. our bus system’s) website earlier today while getting ready for the Tuesday morning City Council post. We went back later to check on it; the item posted at the top of the What’s New items section of their website is a link that takes people to another site, Learn Spanish Today, that offers people to take free Spanish lessons – via a widget dictionary that can be installed on your website or blog or another link on the site.

Even with rising gas prices, the fact that you could leave Gadsden, AL and arrive in West Unity, OH and have a lot more stuff is just a cool thought. It’s going on until August 10. I mean, you could seriously just drive the first hour and find some cool stuff…

Moose crossings in Birmingham?
