The Caputo Report changes directions

Caputo Report logoPascal Caputo has served as the vice president of public policy for the Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce for nearly two years. For the last seven months he has shared posts on The Caputo Report, a blog that became a valuable tool for the organization in terms of sharing perspectives on Chamber-related issues.

Well, beginning with this post filed on Saturday, the blog is now reflecting only the opinions of Mr. Caputo as he prepares to leave the Chamber in advance of the soon to be reorganized Chamber (their merger with the Metropolitan Development Board will be complete later this summer). Who’s new on Twitter?

Birmingham’s Twitterverse keeps on growing…

Well, if you were following us last week, you would have had a chance to win tickets to opening night of Ain’t Misbehavin’ (congrats again to Michael Mayhew) and had a chance or two to get yourself a Terminal T (BTW, the new store launches – finally- tomorrow morning).

What do you think of Birmingham’s image?

The Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce wants to know. They’ve contracted with Samford University‘s Brock School of Business Marketing to do a survey of all of us so they know what we think of Birmingham’s image, in particular the city’s strengths and areas that it needs to work on. It takes three minutes to complete it (tops), (and you’ll be joining at least 400 people who’ve already completed it) so what’s keeping you from clicking here and doing it. Oh yeah, the password is bham (and you’ve only got until Friday (11.21) to complete it).
