If you didn’t already know, Joe Namath was one of 900 others that participated in graduation ceremony at University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa this morning. Yes, that Joe Namath… BTW, his bachelor of arts is in interdisciplinary studies.

The names of the three men being held in connection with Kayla Fanaei’s homicide were released last night.

In hoops, UAB’s men’s squad pulled off an upset as they beat Kentucky 79-76; Birmingham Southern’s women’s basketball team fell to Southern Miss, 78-50 while the men won convincing over Southeastern Bible College, 93-76.

Masada Resource Group recently signed an agreement with another company to work together to build and operate waste-to-ethanol and electricity production facilities in the Dominican Republic.
