There are plenty of things to keep you busy this weekend… so many that we’re going to spend most of the day making sure you know about them whether through our Timetable calendar on our front page and its companion blog. Tonight’s major events are Art on the Rocks at the Museum of Art and Stokin’ the Fire at Sloss Furnaces, both bringing something unique for you this weekend.

The museum’s monthly seasonal social should be interesting with those that choose to wear togas eligible to win a Vespa scooter. If you still need some last minute assistance with creating something to wear, visit this post over on Timetable that has several links to sites that can help you out. It may even get help you win My Scoop’s Best Toga Contest, (judged by it’s publisher Amy Bailey)!

Our own André Natta will be out at Sloss this evening for the first night of the annual Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned contest. We’ll let you know why later. We try to give you an idea of some of the stuff going on in this Timetable listing, but needless to say that you’ve head on out there for yourselves and enjoy the food and the music all weekend.

There’s more… keep checking back
