Governor Riley’s recent proclamation urging Alabama residents to pray for rain has drawn a wide range of opinions about his use of power. Here are two differing views of last week’s announcement:

  • Although I despise Riley because he's a liar, among other things, I think that his asking for prayer for rain isn't a bad thing. I prayed for rain long before Riley asked me to. We need the rain and anyway we can get it will work just fine.
