We got an earlier this afternoon about an opportunity for photographers. (We would have gotten it up then, but as you can probably tell if you’re reading us on the front page, we were a little busy Smile).

Apparently a client of o2 ideas is looking for a photograph to be used as a poster backdrop for a cultural training meeting. The image needs to “capture” Alabama and Georgia because that is where these specific employees work and live. For this particular project they want a “nature” image that encapsulates the “Southern Experience”. Pictures can be from any season and do not need to include people or animals.

Submission guidelines after the jump…

Examples given include:

– A field of flowers
– Images of trees from a park
– An old farm house All photographs must be submitted by Monday, February 25th at 11:00 a.m. CST.  Submit as many photos as you like.  You will receive photo credit for your work.

Email all entries under 4 MB to erin.turner@o2ideas.com . For sending over 4 MB of data per email, they ask that you use their FTP site (information below).   Include your name, email address, contact information, and the cost of each image sent.

You will be informed if your image is selected within two weeks.

FTP site information:

For best results on both Mac and PC use an FTP program like Transmit (Mac) or CuteFTP (Windows).  If you do not have FTP programs, email me to handle this on an individual basis.

server: ftp.o2ideas.com/
user name: o2guest
password: bhm2265 That will give you access to the O2IDEAS folder.  Within that folder you can place your photos in the Southern Exposure Photos folder.
