I hope you’re enjoying Birmingham’s hub for information so far. I figured it was time to let you know about a couple of recent changes at The Terminal to make getting info easier, including the latest on mobile access, email subscriptions and a one-stop shop for contact info: (Yes, you still have to click "read more" for the links to work, sorry)

Mobile access

The first thing is actually a reminder rather than a new service. ALL of the sections of The Terminal are available via mobile phone or web enabled PDA. You’ll miss out on the new orange bar across the top of the pages that makes jumping from section to section a little easier, but you will have access to all the items that are not in the sidebar. Just type in the same URL that you currently do and start surfing.

Receiving The Terminal by e-mail

Some of you have also asked about subscribing to the site by e-mail. We’ve started to answer that question for you:

Or you can visit the front page and look in the far right column, you’ll see the link to subscribe. BTW: We will NEVER give out your information to anyone. These addresses are just to send out the latest from The Terminal. We will offer you a chance to sign up for our e-newsletter in the coming weeks as well. E-mail subscription options will be available for the other sections by the end of the week.

Now you know how to contact us

There’s also now a contact info page letting you know how to get in touch with us (and we’re looking for new ways all the time). We’re always looking for contributors as well. Just let me know if you’re interested via email (andre@bhamterminal.com).

Enjoy the day!

André

Cool! I just got a new Helio Ocean and I've been having a hard time finding mobile browsing friendly sites to bookmark. Thanks! :)
