Simon explaining Hyatt Place

The development of Birmingham’s midtown district was the focus of today’s ONB Breakfast Briefing. Today’s meeting focused on several new developments in the area, including the new Hyatt Place property to be located on the former Williams Cadillac site along 20th Street South. The image above shows Robert Simon from Corporate Realty talking about the project while showing renderings.

New plans from Corporate Realty also include 258 apartments on Block 121, (20th Street South between 1st and 2nd Avenues South), providing a much needed resource inthe area.

Later today we’ll provide additional information about the new Ronald McDonald House.

It is nice to see that there is a NEED for a new Hyatt. I know that during next month when the Turkey Hunters, the EWTN Catholic convention and Barbers Raceway are all happening the hotels are book solid!
