Our image of the new Ronald McDonald House is not nearly as cool as the image shown at this morning’s ONB Breakfast Briefing. It was taken about two months ago while the building was under construction. Yesterday it began service as the new home of the 5th oldest Ronald McDonald House worldwide (and it opened debt-free).

The new building contains 41 60 beds in 41 bedrooms, allowing for 300-400 additional night stays annually. The new structure also allows for the organization to say that all guest rooms have private baths and that the entire property is ADA accessible. Williams-Blackstock Architects designed the building with Brice Construction overseeing its assembly.

Go on over and visit the organization’s website to learn more about it and to see how cool it looks finished.
