On Monday morning, U.S. Attorney Alice Martin revealed the charges contained in the indictment.  There are 101 counts in the federal indictment, including “conspiracy, bribery, fraud, money laundering and filing false tax returns in connection with a long-running bribery scheme related to bond and other financial transactions of Jefferson County, Alabama.”  Martin added these charges all stem from 2002-2006 while Langford was on the Jefferson County Commission.
