The Winston-Salem Journal is reporting that BB&T apparently feels like the opportunity is here. They’ve filed papers with the FDIC to open a location in Birmingham, AL. It would be the third location in the state and the first for the Magic City.

The branch won’t have drive-thru lanes  - cool, though it makes you wonder just where they will put this new “boutique” bank branch…
