Well, yes, there is the YP Expo… but there are two other events going on elsewhere in Birmingham that are worth mentioning as they give a glimpse into current activities and programs available in the metropolitan area:

The Holiday Inn Airport on Messer Airport Hwy will be celebrating the completion of a $6 million renovation. The 5 – 8 p.m. event includes an auction that will benefit the Jimmie Hale Mission and is one of two recent renovations near the Birmingham International Airport.

Meanwhile we are also aware of The Ronald McDonald House of Central Alabama planning to celebrate the completion of their new home located on the Birmingham’s Southside. You can visit the organization’s site to look back at the development of the new building and to learn more about it.
