We reported earlier today in the second half of this post that representatives from Abbott’s campaign were approaching people at this year’s City Stages music festival.
Abbott would be the fourth candidate to formally announce her intentions to run in this October’s mayoral election in Birmingham, Alabama.

Glad to contribute to the cause {smile}… this poor guy probably had no idea why I was changing lanes and pointing a cameraphone in his general direction. I thought I got a shot through the rear window and a clearer portrayal of the sign, but alas it was not to be.
