Monday evening as people began to wait for the results of yesterday’s primaries (here they are for JeffCo), some of them chose to stop by the Birmingham Public Library‘s central branch downtown. They stopped by to take a look at how Birmingham’s first comprehensive planning process since 1951 is going. This was the second of three open houses being held across the city this week, giving citizens the chance to provide feedback.
If you’ve missed the other two opportunities, here’s one more chance this Thursday, March 15, at the Don Hawkins Recreational Center (8920 Roebuck Blvd.). People are encouraged to stop by sometime between 4:30 – 7:30 p.m., though it shouldn’t take them more than 30 minutes to take part.
