nice advice--"get over it". That's really working for this city now isn't it. Yes the majority of voters have spoken...again and again and again. And the city continues to bleed population, business, education, talent, and motivated people of all colors. It's now called "green" flight and just as many brown, black, and others are fleeing to the suburbs or to other cities as whites have in the past to give their children and themselves a chance at a safe, decent lifestyle. "Nuff said?" Not really--just go spend a day in one of Birmingham city schools.

I haven't seen this many angry white people since OJ Simpson. Get over it! This is a democratic society, which means when the public votes, THEY have spoken. The decision has been made about who will lead Birmingham and it is NOT Patrick Cooper. There is a lesson in that if he really wants to know what it is and it is this: You cannot gain from someone else's demise. Build your own agenda and don't wait like a vulture to feed off the of carcass of someone else. Nuff said.

This God-forsaken city wants to stay in the dark ages. A good definition of insanity is "doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results each time." Let's elect another self-serving career criminal/politician to the city's highest office to lead us into more decay and destitution. The last crazy man our local crazy population elected led a life completely devoid of personal financial and moral accountability, and guess where he led Birmingham? That's right, further down into the abyss of financial ruin and political corruption (just like he did Fairfield, Visionland, and Jeff. Co.) Now our local crazy population elected another clown with no personal financial or moral accountability--his wages are right at now at the time of this election being legally garnished to pay for his failed/crooked ways. So guess where Birmingham is now headed under his mayorship--that's right! Further down the toilet. That is if we still have a sewer system left in this bankrupt county to flush ourselves down. Maybe at the next mayoral elections someone with integrity and vision can run for mayor under the slogan,"Let's do something else!" and actually WIN. If our city can even afford to run another election by then.
