Sears was scheduled to be open today (the 15th) only to sell of store fixtures that other Sears (or Kmart?) stores did not claim. Last Thursday I picked up a dinged but solid 4-drawer file cabinet for less than $40. ’Pears to be about half a Century old. A store employee fed me a bizarre tale that the building will be converted to a casino and entertainment complex with "Elvis impersonators" among the attractions. Sounds hideous.
