You can definitely tell that we took the weekend off when we miss a Radio Carousel story! The switch apparently took place shortly after Y94.5‘s simulcast of this year’s Thunder on The Mountain festivities. BTW, the website’s currently under construction. There is speculation all over the web as to what’s going to happen next. Wikipedia is currently saying that it’s gone country (though they’re currently simulcasting WJOX today) and Alabama Media Buzz is suggesting that it could be switching to an adult contemporary hits format.

The good news is that no matter what, we can count on Reg broadcasting next Sunday (at least that’s the word from the man himself courtesy of his Facebook account.

“Thanks for all the emails, phone calls and messages. Too many to return but I wanted to let you know that for the time being, the show will still be airing on 94.5 FM every Sunday from 10AM-2PM.

As soon as I have more information, I will let you know but until then. please keep listening on Sundays and spread the word to other listeners that it is business as usual for Reg’s Coffee House for now.”
