Birmingham Weed and Seed will host a Community Gang Awareness Forum Thursday in the Benjamin Carraway Teaching Auditorium, located on the second floor of Norwood Clinic, 1528 Carraway Blvd. The FBI Violent Crime/Gang/Safe Streets Task Force and the Gang Resistance Education and Training (G. R. E. A. T.) officers of the Birmingham Police Department will facilitate. These officers will update the community on gangs and will also be available to answer questions.
