While many people are focusing on Lipscomb’s mayor using an impounded vehicle as his own (for city purposes of course), the more interesting story comes out of Pleasant Grove.
There they voted to add cats to the city’s leash law. Apparently there are a lot of cats roaming the streets of the Birmingham suburb. So it’s time to make sure that the little ones have tags identifying who they belong to, otherwise it’s $25 for the first offense, with fines going up to $50 & $75 afterwards. Wonder what happens when the cats meet up with the dogs while they’re out for their afternoon walks…
