According to P4K, Birmingham homegirl Maria Taylor, Azure Ray songstress and solo artist, was robbed while on tour in San Francisco. OH NOES!
Also included in the story was a plea from her record company: “As you can imagine,” a Saddle Creek rep writes, “this gear has lots of sentimental value as well.” Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the label at info@saddle-creek.com.
More information – including the list of items taken – after the jump.
Among the things missing:
Left-handed RED Gretsch Tennessee Rose guitar
Left-handed Martin acoustic guitar
Left-handed WHITE American Fender Precision bass (with green pick guard)
Right-handed PURPLE Fender Jazz bass guitar
Right-handed 1976 BLACK Les Paul Deluxe
Right-handed Alvarez acoustic guitar (hand painted white with black swirls, guitar strap is nailed on)
Boss tuner pedal
Boss distortion pedal
Birmingham staple Taylor Hollingsworth is on tour with Maria, and we hope to check in soon when we interview him for the Terminal later next week.
We wish them good luck and hope they recover all their merchandise and gear! Support Maria by checking out her new EP Savannah Drive, which can be purchased on iTunes.
