  Not to be an architecture critic or anything, but I hope they’re able to create something a little more shapely from that roof.

  I agree. It’d also be nice if there were a larger focal-point on axis with 17th street. Is that a waterfall?

  The key to this project’s success is not soley based around the construction and support of the community. The idea and plans look and sound amazing. My concern lies with the maintenance and security on the primisis. Our Police Deparment our whoever they need to permit for security, must do their jobs and not let this turn into another “Alabama Adventure” or a renovation within three years. I live downtown and love these ideas/projects for various reasons. If this park is managed/patrolled and left to be a home for criminals, the homeless and other outstanding citizens of the metro area as all other downtown parks & facilities; nobody will use this beatiful park and can consider it to be yet another failure to re-vamp downtown, due mainly to the mangement and leadership of this city. with that said, we must get these so called “leaders” of of our (highly rated homicide) community OUT!! ASAP!!
