About a month or so ago, Mimi Street, one of the barbers at The Tutwiler Barbershop, and one of her regulars, Stacey Elliott, were joking around Mayor Larry Langford’s desire for the Birmingham to host the 2020 Olympics. A short time later Elliott, who works for Source One Legal Copy, brought in a sign proclaiming the Tutwiler Barbershop as the official barbershop of the 2020 Olympics. “It was one of those ha ha funny things,” Street said.
