UA vs. USA Olympic Softball team, Liberty Park

Details are still to come on this one. We know the game will be at the Liberty Park softball fields but we don’t know time and ticket information. We’ll update when that is decided. What we do have is a quote from UA’s coach: “One of the biggest dates on the season is the game with the Olympic team, which only a few teams from around the nation have the opportunity to play,” Patrick Murphy said. “It will be even more special this time around, because this may be the last go-around for softball in the Olympics. It could be an historic event.” Here’s a link to the UA softball page.

The Terminal’s Holiday Get-together, The Bottletree

So we finally decided that we should do something to celebrate the holiday season with our readers. We’re not rolling in as much dough as some may think, so it suddenly dawned on us that we should find something cool going on and ask our readers to swarm it.

We took a gander at The Bottletree’s calendar of events for next week and figured that Thursday’s planned Christmas comedy special themed evening would be perfect! Sort of a pay it forward to a venue that was very kind to us as we got started this year.

So if you haven’t figured out something else to do yet, come on over and say hi! If enough folks show up, you may even be able to get AndrĂ© to go against Greg in the Christmas carol duel to the death… well, maybe.

We’ll bring the box of Terminal Ts in case some folks are interested in purchasing one ($15 for the holidays – and yes, the price will be changed on the site for the shirts by tomorrow morning).

You know you’re thinking about it…

If you want to let us know you’re coming, click on one of these links and RSVP (you don’t really have to, but we’d love to know if you’re coming)

So you’ve procrastinated until the last possible minute to get a gift for someone and you don’t really know what to do or where to go. And you’re not planning on heading out to the PapaJohns.com Bowl. The folks over at The Bottletree have decided to help you get out of your predicament.

They’re letting folks bring in crafts or art to trade with each other (or purchase if you’d rather not share your artistic talent with others). It’s free to participate and it’ll give you yet another chance to try out their new menu!
