USFL’s Google+ Hangout helps explain the process

Birmingham, AL has been hoping beyond hope that the USFL would put a team here this coming spring. A Google+ Hangout held Thursday may get folks to start asking more appropriate questions & remind us we’ll now be waiting until at least 2014.

How did Birmingham fare on National Signing Day?

Yes, the last three BCS championship games were won by teams hailing from the state of Alabama – so there’s a good reason to be paying a lot of attention to them on National Signing Day. It’d be a shame though if we didn’t take a moment and at least acknowledge the institutions in the immediate metro Birmingham area that signed student-athletes on February 1.
