Residents and merchants in Birmingham’s Five Points South community are probably celebrating this evening as Chick-Fil-A announced that they would move forward with seeking approval of a new location in the commercial district without a drive-through.
While Frank Stitt’s Highlands Bar and Grill did not win the Outstanding Restaurant award during the 2010 James Beard Awards ceremony in New York City, metro Birmingham was still recognized with Bessemer’s The Bright Star being hailed as an American Classic.
