
The newest addition to the medical portion of downtown Birmingham’s skyline has led to a necessary, and currently temporary, move of parking facilities for the city’s VA medical center. The changes went into effect November 1.

The public battle over the Jefferson County Commission’s plans to discontinue inpatient services at Cooper Green Mercy Hospital got a little more attention (and interesting) earlier this week, thanks to the Rev. Al Sharpton.
