Just a reminder that today’s the last day for The Anchorage in downtown Homewood. While it has been reported that the restaurant was closing at the end of October, the lease expired on September 1. Rumors of a relocation to Edgewood are said to be not true, so if you want to enjoy it one last time, today’s apparently the day. Some folks are sharing their feelings about the decsion in their own way…

Went over lunch. Owner confirmed that, while they considered going to Edgewood, it “isn’t going to work out.” What a shame. Please make your way over there before 2. There are still a few T-shirts for sell!

I hope the rumors ARE true! The owner actually told me they were thinking of moving to Edgewood..so..I hope this is the case. I’m headed to the Anchorage for lunch, for sure!
This is such depressing news.
Where are the rumors of a relocation to Edgewood proven untrue? I heard directly from the man that works the cash register that they were trying to move there. I guess they may not have been able to reach an agreement or something.
