Not to be outdone by Senator Obama’s announcement about Sunday’s town hall meeting, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee will be visiting Birmingham on Saturday. He’ll be at Brock Hall on Samford University’s campus; he’s scheduled to speak at 4:30 p.m.

It will be the 2008 Republican presidential candidate’s first visit to the Magic City during his campaign for president.
