The Birmingham Barons once again take the field at their original home, Rickwood Field (a.k.a. - America’s oldest ballpark!) this afternoon to face the Jacksonville Suns.

This year’s game will honor the 1964 & 1965 teams - they’ll be the guys wearing gold. The team is significant due to it being the first integrated team to represent the city of Birmingham. Check out the write up on the Barons’ official site and learn the history of the "Orange Alert baseball".

The game starts at 12:35 p.m. Tickets are currently available online as well as at the Barons box office.
