The Pepper Place Saturday Market is in its eighth year providing residents with a place to get fresh produce while exploring one of the city’s coolest districts. The market will begin promptly at 7 a.m. and close at noon in the Pepper Place parking lot. According to the event website, new products available include hand carved wooden fruit trays, wind chimes, hand blown glass, hot sauces, pottery, homemade fudge, peanut brittle and ice cream. Activities include cooking demonstrations by some of the region’s best chefs. A chance to meet up with friends and see what Alabama has to offer in terms of produce.
