The YP Roundtable that has been meeting for the last few months has announced their first joint event – an expo showcasing the organizations available for YPs in the greater Birmingham area. The expo will take place on the evening of June 21 as one of the first after hours events at the recently opened Innovation Depot. The expo is resulting from meetings that have taken place among the leadership of several organizations since last fall.

According to Alison Howell with the Chamber of Commerce, “this is going to be a great way to build your membership, network, find out about upcoming events, and learn about all the other YP organizations out there.” Organizations that are interested in participating are asked to contact Howell before May 18.

The event will follow on the heels of City Stages and happen the night before the first Art on the Rocks of the year. Additional information will be available on ypnow.org, a website recently created to help connect the young professional community in the Magic City.
