In case you hadn’t already heard, Birmingham, AL native and former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has signed a 3-book, $2.5 million deal with Crown Publishing Group, the same folks who published then U.S. Senator Barack Obama’s The Audacity of Hope. The first book is scheduled for release in 2011. USA Today has all of the other details that I’m sure you’re looking for.
