Birmingham is mourning the loss of a native son and a pioneer this morning as word continues to spread about the passing of Lou Zaden, owner of Lou’s Pub and Package Store, on Thursday. He had just celebrated the business’ 21st anniversary last week.
Funeral arrangements have been announced; The visitation and the funeral will be held at Saint George Melkite Greek Catholic Church, 425 16th Avenue South. The visitation is Sunday from 5 until 7 p.m. The funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m.
