Contemporary Christian musician and Dove Award winner Phil Keaggy will perform at the Matt Jones Gallery this Thursday. The performance will benefit the Pastoral Care program at Children’s Hospital. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. The gallery is located at 2830 6th Ave. South.

Keaggy’s solo career has spanned more than 30 years, and has included more than 50 albums, both vocal and instrumental, as well as eight releases with his band, Glass Harp. His latest release, “The Song Within,” has been widely-praised by fans and critics alike.

The Pastoral Care program at Children’s Hospital provides spiritual guidance to patients and their families by being persons of support, inspiration, and vision. Children’s Hospital of Alabama is the 10th busiest pediatric medical center in the United States.
