October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Start it off right by joining the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama for its third annual “Celebration of Mothers and Daughters” concert Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Workplay Theater. Don’t let the name fool you, it’s not just for women. Everyone is welcome. The event features award-winning Alabama singer-songwriter Mae Robertson along with Birmingham guitarist Jim Ohlschmidt. The night starts off with a cocktail reception in the bar from 5:30-6:30 p.m with hors d’oeuvres by The Fish Market. The event is sponsored by Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell and Berkowitz, PC.
