If you were upset that you couldn’t take your old computer equipment to be recycled this past April on Earth Day, fear not. TechBirmingham has announced that they will be hosting an Ecycling Day this coming Friday, June 29 at Vulcan Park from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
They’ve partnered with Electronic Recycling Services, a company out of Norcross, GA that recycles and demanufactures computing equipment year-round.
For those not familar with Ecycling Day, visit the official website. Most of the items brought in will be demanufactured and recycled while those items that can be reused will be reconditioned and redistributed to community-based computer learning centers.
