Jeremy Flint reported about the beginning of a new partnership between the Internet Professionals Society of Alabama (IPSA) and TechBirmingham late yesterday evening on his blog. Birmingham TechReach is a program through which area high school students will be encouraged to consider a career in technology through classroom presentations. Based on the information available at the project website, they will also be attempting to show the wide scope and resulting opportunities that is technology in the beginning of the 21st century.

This is the second collaboration between the two organizations . They already work together maintaining a list of the Birmingham, Alabama metropolitan area’s WiFi hotspots on bhamwifi.com. According to Flint, who serves as the Communications/Programs Director for IPSA, they are They are encouraging those interested in learning more about the program to use the contact form on the project site.
