Writer <a href=\"http:\/\/nanabanana.typepad.com\/about.html\">Colleen Clark<\/a> (who incidentally maintains her own blog, <a href=\"http:\/\/nanabanana.typepad.com\/\"><em>Nana Banana<\/em><\/a>, since June 2010) shines a light on \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thebottletree.com\/\">The Bottletree<\/a>\u00a0(pictured to your left last week as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thebottletree.com\/new-hours-and-menu\/288\/\">they reopened for weekday lunch service<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thebottletree.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/02\/BottletreeLunchMenu2012.pdf\">here&#8217;s the new menu<\/a>), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cafedupont.net\/\">Caf\u00e9\u00a0Dupont<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.demetrisbbq.com\/\">Demetri&#8217;s BBQ<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.highlandsbarandgrill.com\/\">Highlands Bar and Grill<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hotandhotfishclub.com\/\">Hot and Hot Fish Club<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slossfurnaces.com\/\">Sloss Furnaces<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.workplay.com\/\">WorkPlay<\/a> when talking about the Birmingham, AL&#8217;s future as a food and music destination (though it&#8217;s something folks in town already knew).<\/p>\n<p>This designation by the Cond\u00e9 Nast owned publication is only the latest accolade heaped onto the city by the company. Readers of Cond\u00e9 Nast\u00a0Traveler\u00a0recently <a href=\"http:\/\/world.einnews.com\/pr_news\/101546533\/conde-nast-traveler-names-spa-at-ross-bridge-a-top-spa\">named\u00a0\u00a0The Spa at Ross Bridge their choice for third best hotel spa on the U.S. mainland as part of the annual readers survey<\/a>.
