Fans of the theater realize just how impressive this revival of the play is &#8211; including such star power as <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Neil_Patrick_Harris\">Neil Patrick Harris<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stephen_Colbert\">Stephen Colbert<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Christina_Hendricks\">Christina Hendricks<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jon_Cryer\">Jon Cryer<\/a> &#8211; though more folks are probably talking about @<a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/ActuallyNPH\">ActuallyNPH<\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Ns4kV9C6ga0\">closing rap<\/a> at the Tonys (and for those interested,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com\/2011\/06\/12\/about-that-tonys-rap\/\">here are the lyrics<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Most of us here in Birmingham probably didn&#8217;t get the chance to fly up to The Big Apple in April to see <a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/SB10001424052748704415104576251222026020808.html\">any of the sold-out performances done as part of the Philharmonic&#8217;s spring gala<\/a>. But it turns out we didn&#8217;t have to.<\/p>\n<p>Folks wanting to see the revival can head to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fandango.com\/carmikesummit16_aahln\/theaterpage?date=6\/15\/2011\">Carmike Summit 16<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.movietickets.com\/house_detail.asp?house_id=8675&amp;rdate=6\/15\/2011\">the Rave Motion Pictures at Lee Branch<\/a> June 15 (tomorrow), 16, 19 or 21 and catch a screening of the adaptation (and some air conditioning too).
