This month’s First Thursdays event at the Museum might be the chance for attendees who haven’t had the chance to see the nationally acclaimed “The Look of Love: Eye Miniatures from the Skier Collection” exhibit (currently on display through June 10) yet a chance to do so. If you don’t think it’s getting noticed, you’ve probably missed the pieces written in The New York Times, Architectural Digest and Salon, among others.
The museum will be open until 9 p.m. that evening, with a jazz trio playing throughout the evening and tapas and cocktails available for purchase.
The museum’s own Graham Boettcher will give a gallery talk beginning at 6 p.m. about the “Look of Love” exhibit he curated and the folks from Sidewalk will present at 7 p.m. screening of The Governess.
