As we said in our newsletter on Friday, there was a lot of stuff going on this weekend, especially during the evening of July 26… so what’d you do?
What did you do this weekend – and how was it?

I couldn’t have hoped for a better debut experience for my new band Bright Henry than the one we had last night at the Terminal Benefit Concert. For all of you who attended, thanks! You were a great, responsive and fun-lovin’ crowd, and I hope we can have many more great times together.
I attended an outdoor wedding in Auburn, saw The Dark Knight, supported the Terminal benefit show at Bottletree, ate an amazing home-cooked meal thanks to my stepmother, played my guitar through a cranked amplifier at an airplane hangar, and drove 14 hours back to Michigan after a week in town. Beat that!
I hung out with a friend of mine in celebration of her **th birthday at the Wine Loft in Mountain Brook. I love the downtown location, but hadn’t had a chance to check out the 280 locale until last Saturday. The ambiance was waaaayyy cool. Service was close to failing, compared to its downtown sister, but our group made the most of it and it will not prevent me from going again…hopefully this weekend!
went to a funeral in homewood. it was sad.
We participated in the Alabama Solar Home tour as part of a national day of action. It was fun and inspiring to see solar power in action. Thanks to our friends at Energize Alabama for organizing the tour which ended with a viewing of Killowatt Hours. Power to the people!
