This is scheduled to be the first mayoral forum where all ten candidates currently running for the office of mayor of Birmingham are to appear. The forum will be podcast on wiat.com, with portions of the forum being televised on CBS 42 beginning at 9 p.m. Tickets to the event are no longer available, but the debate will be shown via closed-circuit television in the WorkPlay bar.

Several organizations are co-sponsoring the event with the LWVGB, including Catalyst, Rotaract Club of Birmingham, Birmingham Association of Black Journalists, Sixteenth Street Baptist Church, WorkPlay and WIAT/CBS 42.
