This morning’s Birmingham City Council meeting includes giving the former Continental Ballroom new life via a local entrepreneur, a minor rewrite of the Railroad Park Foundation’s contract with the city of Birmingham, and a pending decision by the council about whether or not to support the construction of the Northern Beltline.
Railroad Park keeps getting closer to meeting its current projected opening date of late summer. Last week’s storms have given passersby a chance to see what the lake will look like full. They’ve also apparently got a new logo too.
