A long-time staple of the Birmingham, AL arts community has announced that it will be closing its doors one day before the end of the year. Bare Hands Gallery will leave behind a significant legacy, including a new non-profit organization to sustain the city’s annual Dia de los Muertos Festival.

Artwork created by 14 local artists as well as students at Phillips Academy will be available for sale. The gallery being used for the show, a private downtown loft residence, will feature antique automobiles as props.
