GOP candidates for Alabama governor debate tonight

While the Democratic nominee for Alabama governor has already been determined, there’s still a runoff to be held on the Republican side. The Young Republican Federation of Alabama has invited both of the candidates in the runoff, Bradley Byrne and Robert Bentley, to participate in a debate this evening in Birmingham, AL, with the event being simulcast online and on the radio.

The national health care debate visits Birmingham, AL tonight in the form of a “town hall meeting” held by U.S. Congressman Spencer Bachus at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center.
