If you haven’t ventured over to Brookwood Village to try out Five Guys Famous Burgers & Fries, our newest entry into the world of burger joints here in Birmingham, don’t worry about it … soon you’ll have to choose where you want to go.

The chain, which started in Arlington, Va., and is truly famous nationwide, will soon open its second metro Birmingham location at The Pinnacle shopping development in Trussville next to The Loop. The new location could be seen as providing some interesting close competition to the other burger chain that has recently entered the metro Birmingham market, Red Robin. That location, the Colorado-based company’s third in Alabama, opened earlier this year. We’re guessing that time will tell who’s burger reigns supreme.
