It looks like Cooper has a case. Langford's loft was empty and if you drive by his house in Fairfield all of his vehicles are parked outside. My aunt lives a street over on Fair Oaks drive and she said she saw him at the home all the time, she told me she thought he could live anywhere to run for the city of Birmingham. Could someone out there explain to me what happens if Langford is disqualified, is the city council president mayor, does Kincaid stay longer, or does the city council president or Kincaid stays until a special election. I would appreciate if someone can inform me on that.

This is going to be interesting. I've read the contest papers, and although I'm certainly not an attorney, it looks like Cooper has a case. The judge will have to rule quickly if this is to be settled before the scheduled inauguration date.

Interesting. I wonder if Cooper's proposal to hold a new election among the remaining eligible candidates is the same as the "manner prescribed by law" for filling a vacancy created by the successful disqualification of a certified victor.

Also interesting that the Sheriff is instructed to serve papers to Langford at his Fairfield address. If the Deputy cannot find the defendant there, but does find him downtown, would that alter the facts of the case?

PS: It's "Blach's", not "Bloch's"
