Helena was selected as #91 of 100 communities that made Money Magazine’s 2007 list of the Best Places to Live. The magazine released this year’s rankings recently and Helena was the only city in Alabama to make the list.

The annual report looks at cities with populations between 7,500 and 50,000. The Birmingham News spoke with Helena’s mayor and provides an overview of the criteria for the honor.
